pertengahan desember,
dapet kabar akung gak diperpanjang lagi masa dinesnya di KPUD Dumai…
sedih karna akung punya high tendensi “very moody” in daily basis even for small matters(*seperti spill on d table yg hrs lgs dilap...), tapi lega juga karna kita kasian liat akung rasanya udah gampang capek banget yg harus bolak-balik pekanbaru (4jam dr dumai dan jalannya gak bagus..) tiap ada rapat..

minggu terakhir bulan desember..
tiba2 bosnya beruang nge-jual all d clients to other company without telling d staff as a share holder.. udah gitu perusahaan yg baru ndak mau ngambil abang as their employee karna earning beruang plg besar.. kurang ajar gak tuh bos kanguru-nya.. ngobrol dong dr kemarenan.. jadi kita bisa prepared cari kerja ditempat lain lebih serius.. jahat banget sih jadi orang… so guys.. klo ada yg tau posisi kosong untuk IT manager atau apapun yg berkaitan dengan engeineering call us yah..

waktu didumai Pasha sakit… demam sampe 39.2 C bingung2 g… gak ngerti apa penyebabnya… jan 5 baru ketawan klo dia ada pilek dan batuk.. skr udah balik dirumah tapi sampe hari ini masih minum obat batuk dan demam… kasian deh si adek… cepet sembuh ya sayang…

G udah feeling sebenernya nyuruh beruang pulang aja begitu dia kelepasan u turn pas mo belanja di jusco puchong.. but he insist to do d groceries @ jusco bukit raja.. secara emang udah gak ada lagi bahan makanan dikulkas… akhirnya ilang deh tuh notebook kantor yg ditaro dimobil.. malingnya nge push kunci dari pintu sopir… udah lapor security dan polisi ditempat kejadian.. mangkel banget karna data2 photo liburan didumai kemarin blm sempet g pindahin.. mana habis disusun rapi dokumen2 itu.. dan banyak lagi dokumen penting dalam tas ktr beruang.. kasian deh papa.. pas pulang tampangnya lemes gitu.. g jadi gak tega… tapi mo gimana lg… pengen beliin kompi baru gak punya uang jg.. yaudahlah pasrah aja.. mungkin ada hikmah dibalik semua kejadian ini..

sedih mode on diawal tahun…
habis ini Tuhan mo kasih ujian apa lagi buat keluarga kita ya??

17 Dec kmrn pasha udah 20 bulan..
- beratnya udah 11.9kg
- udah bisa lari2… naik tangga sendiri.. klo turun masih kudu dijagain.. dianya suka ragu2 gitu.. antara mo turun gaya tengkurep sambil mundur atau gaya pegangan tangga sambil turun pelan2 hadap kedepan.. ehehhe.. intinya masih blm bs sendiri…
- bs tendang boleh walo gak jelas arah tujuannya.. klo udah frust dia lempar aja tuh bola.. ahhahah..
- bisa maem pake sendok walo makanan yg dia coba suap suka missed… dan pada akhirnya dia - - - lebih suka makan dengan tangannya.. jorok deh pokoknya.. kececeran dan cemot dimana2..
- gak mau sama orang lain selain mama dan papa.. gak terkecuali sodara sendiri.. ama wan pas liburan kemaren perlu 2 hari buat bisa deketin pasha… begitu udah mau digendong gak mo turun dia.. asik2 minta cetek2 lampu melulu.. kasian deh si wan sampe sakit pinggang gendong pasha..
- drama boy banget.. pantang denger kata “no” atau suara mamanya keras dikit udah deh.. “mewek” mode on… dan g tau banget dia ecek2 doang padahal.. dasar adek..
- udah ngerti main mobil2an lengkap dengan suara2 pendukung.. “vrrrooommm.. vrroomm.. ”
- udah bisa ngajakin mama papa pergi ketempat yg pasha mau di seputar rumah dgn cara menarik salah satu jari…
- udah tau klo papa mama suka pura2 bobo klo pasha mulai tarik jari papa mama.. trus ngedumel sendiri.. hehehe..
- udah tau buku mana yg bakal mama baca klo nyuruh pasha bobo.. klo buku itu dibacain seblm jam bobo pasti pasha nangis.. gak mau gt.. hehehehe…

Penyelesaian:
Bagi adonan kulit dan isi masing2 menjadi 10 bagian, buat bulatan dgn tangan tipiskan baru dimasuk kan dalam ampia..
(nah disini nih experimentnya.. karna baru pertama kali pake tools ini.. ge rada bingung jg gimana cara masukin dough-nya kedalam mesin ini.. akhirnya setelah pusing2.. berdua mertua menemukan cara jg.. yaitu membulatkan dan memipihkan dulu adonan tadi baru dimasukin ke dalem mesin.. baru masuk ke dalam cetakan pastel instant… nah kesempatan g jg belajar milin pinggirannya pastel ama mertua.. doi jago pisan milinnya.. punya g jadi nya gendut2 ajah..)
letak kan adonan tipis tadi kedalam cetakan pastel…
letakkan irisan telur ditengah2 juga 1sdm isi,
lalu lipat dan tekan… rapikan klo suka bentuk tradisional bisa dipilin pinggirnya..
Kerjakan terus sampe semuanya abis.
goreng dalam minyak panas hingga pastel terendam…
sampe berwarna keemasan (bukan warna coklat yah..), tiriskan. Jadi deh..

oo iyah.. karna g bikinnya malem… jadi pastel yg udah jadi tadi g simpen di kulkas dalam kotak kue.. besok paginya pas mo goreng pada lengket2.. bt deh.. jadi robek2 gitu sebagian.. sudah tentu tidak akan g pajang di blog dong gambar na’ malu2in pisan.. hehehe.. tips dari mertua..
klo mo disimpen taro disatu wadah memanjang seperti loyang kue yg udah dialesin tepung gandum.. jgn ditiban.. tapi disusun diagonal gitu.. jadi gak lengket2.. ehheeh..
soal hasil.. rasa isinya udah ok dilidah g.. tapi kulitnya jadi keras pisan… qeh qeh qeh.. mungkin karna g masukin kulkas apa karna g nipisinnya kelamaan kali yah.. anyway tetep enak kok.. bisa g makan.. next time coba lagi deh… atau mungkin kudu nyobain resep kulit yg lainnya???

dua2nya handmade chocolate clay(biasanya kan fondant)…
keren kan.. hihihi… rasanya enak… trus harganya murah meriah lagi..

iseng yah g.. kurang kerjaan banget.. itung2 dari pada bengong lah.. bikin entry asal2an dikit..

Before we go on to the post, we would like to thank Nuffnang and Friso for making this event a blast. We would also like to thank Kizsports & Gym for the great place and friendly staffs. We did not get the chance to chit chat or mingle with other bloggers as we had been too busy chasing after our son. However, it was nice when we met Lankapo and family as well as Gartblue and family there! We would also like to congratulate Sawanila for winning the grand prize!

Right after the registration,  Pasha had to change into his Nuffnang Friso t-shirt and then we had a family photo shoot at the entrance. That marked the beginning of a great time ahead!

Speaking about having a ball, Pasha was really having lots of fun with those colorful balls that they had over there.

There was something about those balls that made children go crazy! Here are more pictures at the colorful balls area.

The combination of the slide and those colorful balls were really a great idea! We could have let him stayed there for the whole day and he would not mind it at all.

They had an area for the younger kids and there were more slides and balls there too! My son was in a kid’s heaven that day!

There was this huge playing area in the middle of the place where kids and parents had to climb up and the go down some slides. Mama Diah had to follow Pasha up as Papa Bear was too heavy for that stunt…

They went up and they came down! What a pure fun to have! At least Pasha and Mama had no problems with height….

Then we had a group activity but Pasha decided that he would not really take part. He was already sleepy and at the same time, he preferred those colorful balls and slides outside the activity room… There went our chance of winning a hamper…

Once out of the room, we took Pasha to the swing and he had a jolly good time swinging away…

We missed the talks by a nutritionist and a mommy blogger as Pasha wanted to play with those colorful balls again…

At 12 noon we had lunch. Pasha did not join the kids lunch but was with us instead. Notice the Ducth Lady Iced Latte above. We had a free flow of those during the event. For lunch we had some noodles, nasi lemak, chicken curry, puffs and and a few other things… Before that Pasha joined the coloring contest but he was not interested in coloring. He was more interested in arranging the crayons into the box…

The Magic Show took place right after lunch but Pasha decided to take a nap and he fell asleep on my shoulder and then Mama took over…

After he woke up from his nap, he asked the mother to join him to do the climb and slide again… He had fully recharged and that was the last thing for him to play before we bid farewell to Kizsport…

Here are some of the goodies that we brought back from the event. From left to right, top to bottom, a pair of mouse pad with NuffnangFriso logo, Friso Milk, Dutch Lady milk and the RM100 MPH Vouchers that we won. The last two pictures are our souvenirs from the event.

Suddenly we felt the craving for nasi padang and the first place that came to mind was the Sari Ratu restaurant in Kelana Jaya. Right after Pasha woke up from his afternoon nap, the three of us headed over to the restaurant. It was almost empty when we got there as it was already past 2pm. That’s good!

Below are the food and drink that Mama Diah ordered. By the way, they somehow do not serve nasi padang the way they serve it back in Indonesia. It is more like having nasi campur or nasi kandar here where we just order what we want unlike the real nasi padang where they would just put everything on the table and you just eat whatever you want to eat and leave the rest untouched.

From left to right, ayam bakar, which is Mama Diah’s favorite chicken dish, gulai nangka (jack fruit), gulai telur (egg), chicken soup, which is meant for Pasha, sambal merah and a glass of honey dew juice.

Now these are what Papa Bear ordered.

From left to right, gulai pucuk ubi, udang petai (prawns), ayam pop and a glass of honey lemon. The ayam pop was not as good as the one that we always had in Jakarta or Dumai but considering that this is the only place that sells it, it was better than nothing…

Two pictures of Mama Diah and Pasha eating. Nowadays Pasha would not want to seat in the baby chair anymore. He prefers to sit on our lap. The third picture is Papa Bear and Pasha at the cashier and the last picture showing the missing “D” on the word “RESERVED” on the parking sign. With such good food, who cares about the missing “D” anyway…

That’s what you get when you feed your child properly. Pasha trying out Mama Diah newly bought sunglasses while on the way to Sunway Pyramid after a great lunch!

When he wakes up, he would want to get out of the room. Once he is out of the room, he wants to get out of the house. The house is now too small for him and I guess he could not find any new thing and place to explore in the house anymore and he has seen enough of our faces already.

He loves getting out of the house. He loves getting into the car and going out for a drive somewhere. He knows when the weekends are here and he knows what to expect during the weekends. Every morning, before I leave for work, I would always tell him that we would only take him out during the weekends and surprisingly, he remembers that well.

He loves the trip to the hypermarkets and the mega malls. He would become excited as soon as he sees the familiar entrance to those places and once inside, he feels that he is in heaven! The presence of other kids and abundance of stuffs for him to touch and carry around in his own shopping basket can easily make his day. He would never get bored there…

So, because of that, we have to make plans for the weekends. We have to take him somewhere as a reward for being so understanding that Papa has got to go to work during the weekdays. He does not really mind where we take him as long as it is out of the house. All he needs is to see some new faces, to say hello to other kids and some open space where he can run as much as he wishes.

Today we saw the Nuffnang Friso Family Day Out event. We’re simply elated! This is the kind of event that we would love him to attend. This is where he would be able to meet and play with lots of kids of about his age. It would be an awesome experience for him especially at this stage where he is learning about relationship, friendship and the big idea about socialization. This is something that we have been thinking of for a long time and now our prayers have been answered.

Apart from the great time that he would definitely have there, the event would be an opportunity for us as parents to spend some great quality time with our children. This would be a chance for us to bond with our child while learning about nutrition and sharing some parenting experiences. Those are the reasons why a family day is really important for our children!

This could be our first big event where three of us would be participating as a family and it would definitely be something that is too important to miss!
